I am a Director of McIsaacs Chartered Accountants and am now based in Wānaka, while continuing to work with clients in Auckland and throughout New Zealand. I also visit Auckland regularly throughout the year and am available to meet with clients in both Auckland and Wānaka.

With more than 30 years’ experience in chartered accountancy, I have worked closely with businesses and their owners across a wide range of industries and stages of growth. Prior to joining McIsaacs in 2016, I was an owner and principal of a mid-tier accounting firm.

I like to develop quality relationships with my clients, where they feel comfortable asking questions. I work particularly well with established businesses and business owners who want more from their accountant than annual compliance. My experience includes business structuring, tax planning, due diligence, budgeting and management reporting, strategic planning, risk management, governance, succession planning and preparing businesses for eventual sale.



A particular interest of mine is helping business owners improve the value and performance of their businesses. This can involve strengthening financial reporting and systems, identifying areas for improvement, planning for growth, or making sure a business is well positioned when the owners eventually decide to step back or sell.

I have a special interest in family businesses and high-net-worth families, particularly around governance and succession. These conversations can sometimes be difficult but addressing them early can help protect both the business and family relationships.



Being based in Wānaka means I am now available locally to work with a limited number of Central Otago businesses and business owners, while also drawing on the resources and experience of the wider McIsaacs team.
